Womens update

Nanaimo United put on a dominant performance on Sunday, November 29th beating Vic A's 4-1 in Nanaimo. Andrea Stebel started the scoring off for United early in the first half, heading home the effort. United ended the first half up 2-0, off a Jackie Churchill strike from 25 yards beating the Vic A's keeper. After a slow start to the second half, United conceeded a goal early but regained their composure and 2 goal advantage with a goal from an Emily Nicholson. Nicholson was unmarked in the box after a great late run, and made no mistake with the finish. Brittany Shillingford capped off the United victory with a goal in extra time. This was a great all-round effort for United who gained a valuable 3 points late in the season.
